McLaren Electronic Systems is an established manufacturer and supplier of electronics, software and components for the motorsport, automotive and aerospace industries.  Amongst other things, the company has been the Official ECU Supplier to the FIA Formula One World Championship since 2008 and, in that role, has provided the standard powertrain control and data systems to all of the teams and engine makers competing in open-wheel racing at the highest level.  McLaren Electronics also supplies systems and parts to Indy Racing League, NASCAR, sportscars and rally cars.

McLaren Electronics has its headquarters in the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England, and an office in Mooresville, North Carolina, in the heart of NASCAR country.  The company develops and makes a wide range of control, data and telemetry systems, selling to many different customers around the world.

McLaren Electronics is part of the McLaren Group, a privately owned group of companies which include McLaren Racing, the Formula One Constructor, McLaren Automotive, the high-end sportscar company and McLaren Applied Technologies, a company which targets new and exciting applications of technology originally developed for racing and automotive markets.

The company employs over 70 professional engineers and 50 skilled technicians to develop and build its portfolio of products and systems.  McLaren Electronics has been ISO quality certified since 1996 and was the proud winner of a Queen’s Award for Innovation in 2009 in recognition of its achievements in Formula One.
